SIMS 4 APARTMENT BUILDS

I've been playing the Sims 4 again like crazy this summer... scavenging the internet for furniture cc is my retail therapy. I think I live vicariously through my sims because I find myself just making super maximalist apartments. One day I'll have the money to fill my own with as much antique furniture as I desire :'). I will share the ones that are finished now and upload the rest later if I ever do get around to finishing them. The first apartment is for my sim Layla. The aesthetic of it is largely centered around old Shanghai. I tried including lots of antiques and pieces with chinoiserie. If this apartment was a song, it would be Bachelorette by Bjork. Placing all the knickknacks and clutter around her house was my favorite but most tedious part, and her apartment took the longest to build and gather cc. I think it took in total around 12 hours. At some point I was in this trance-like zombie state looking up as many key words as I could on TSR.

Since this is the only apartment that I completely finished, I tried taking a house tour but my PC can not handle running a million sim mods while screen recording so the quality is absolute garbage. My shaders act up a lot so excuse the glitching and freezing T.T. In the video, you can see Layla and her bf Cullen is over. He's actually not her bf and is pretty toxic but has good intentions LOL. Layla has around 3 random jobs all over NYC, including working part time in an antique store. She also has been playing harp since middle school and plays gigs around town.

The next apartment is inspired by Miss Tada. Jiwon is the sim that lives here and she's a die hard otaku who loves heisei retro fashion. In other words, she's a neet who dropped out of college (living my dream life). It took forever trying to find all the figurine cc but it was so worth it. I think it's so adorable seeing my sim have her own figure collection displayed in her room. She also turned her extra room into a walk in closet.

The last apartment is Cullen's. Since he is male manipulator I decked his room out with every red flag I could think of. While he is a little evil, he compensates for that with his great music taste. It was my first time properly building a room for a guy sim so it was a bit of a challenge. I tried going for a 2000's, grungey, older brother's room. He does a lot of shady stuff for work and also plays a few gigs in small bands here and there.
